Jade Goody in Big Boss-2 ..

Jade Goody, who was at the centre of last year’s Celebrity Big Brother race row after being accused of bullying Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty, is being lined up to appear in the Indian version of the reality TV show.
And in a further twist, the Indian version of the reality show - called Bigg Boss - will be fronted by Shetty.
Goody is set to fly out to Mumbai today in preparation for the show, which begins at the weekend.
She will be paid £100,000 for her appearance, according to today’s Sun.
“Jade wasn’t sure when she was first approached because she was worried about how the Indian housemates and public might react,” a source told the paper.
“She was really upset about everything that happened after the scandal last year. She really wants to clear her name and prove to everyone that she’s not a racist.”
Goody’s actions on Celebrity Big Brother, which included calling Shetty “Shilpa Poppadom” and mocking the way she ate, resulted in more than 50,000 complaints to Ofcom and became a major crisis for broadcaster Channel 4.
The Celebrity Big Brother race row in January last year also led to street protests in India, where effigies of Goody were burned.
Goody later said she was “disgusted with herself”, but denied she was racist.
Shetty, who went on to win the show, told Indian media that her experiences on the UK series would help her in her new presenting job.
“I will be able to empathise with the people in the house better because I have been through the experience and I know what they will be going through at that point of time,” she said.
“So I think it will be easier for me to relate to them and we are all human beings so I think I’m going to try and make it [hosting Bigg Boss] entertaining with a human touch.”
The show, which is expected to last three months, will see 12 Indian celebrities take part.
Former People editor Mark Thomas has taken on representing Goody through Max Clifford’s PR firm as one of his first jobs since leaving the Sunday tabloid.
Clifford told MediaGuardian.co.uk that “nothing has been confirmed” over Goody’s participation in the show, although discussions are taking place and a decision is expected tomorrow.
