Born and bred by her mum and step dad in Bristol, Sophie Anderton quit school at sixteen to follow her dream of becoming a model. Within a year she was on the catwalk and at nineteen broke in to the public’s consciousness as that infamous Gossard girl.

However, Sophie is now known more for her string of affairs with the likes of Matt Goss, Dan MacMillan and Mark Bosnich, who was recently accused of assaulting the model. She has also recently let the tabloids in on a secret or two about her private life, the fact that she’s a cocaine addict and has been taking drugs since she was fourteen, that she worked as a high class prostitute and that she has tried to commit suicide.

With a life that makes a Jackie Collins novel look tame – a car accident that nearly resulted in the loss of a leg, stints in rehab, abusive boyfriends and millionaire playboy lovers, Sophie is the perfect celebrity.

Having exorcised some of her demons she is now settled in Belgravia and hoping to launch a Hollywood career some time in the future, having told the papers "If Kelly Brook can do it so can I."
